HDLS is a course on hospital disaster management response principles for physicians, critical care/emergency nurses, physicians extenders, paramedics, hospital administrators, protective services, and emergency preparedness staff.

The course combines classroom discussion of critical “all-hazards” response issues with tabletop and exercise simulation for conventional, chemical, radiological and biological Mass Casualty Incidents (MCI).  Participants will have multiple opportunities to practice disaster management concepts and procedures discussed in class.
